Abstract

Working students face dual demands in balancing their academic and professional lives. This study aims to determine the relationship and influence of psychological capital and social support on career adaptability among working students.This study employed a quantitative correlational approach involving active students from Universitas Islam 45 Bekasi as respondents. Data were collected using the Career Adaptability Scale, the Psychological Capital Questionnaire (PCQ), and the Social Support Scale, all of which had been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis was the Rank Spearman correlation and multiple linear regression techniques. The results showed a positive and significant relationship between psychological capital and career adaptability (r = 0.207; p = 0.003), as well as between social support and career adaptability (r = 0.207; p = 0.001). Simultaneously, psychological capital and social support significantly influenced career adaptability (R2 = 0,080; F = 9,343; p = 0,001). These findings indicate that higher psychological capital and social support possessed by working students correspond to a higher level of career adaptability.
