Abstract
The fish farming business is a promising business opportunity to be developed, with fish farming can increase profits for fish farmers. Catfish is a popular food that is quite in demand in various circles of society, containing nutrients that are beneficial for health. This research aims to find out the amount of costs incurred and income in the Pekayon Catfish Seed business and find out the feasibility or not of the Pekayon Catfish Seed business. The research method used is a quantitative method by conducting observations and direct interviews with Business Owners and Employees, the type of data used in this study uses primary data and secondary data. The results of this study show that the costs for one period or 3 months include fixed costs of IDR 4,835,188.00. The total variable cost of the catfish breeding business is IDR 5,235,000.00. The total cost of catfish breeding business is IDR 10,070,000.00. The total revenue from the catfish breeding business is IDR 36,000,000.00 and the total income obtained by Pekayon Lele Seeds for 1 period amounted to IDR 25,929,813.00. Analysis of the catfish breeding business that the R/C value is 3.57 that the R/C value is more than 1 is worth pursuing. The value of the production BEP obtained is 20,469 seeds in one production, the value of the BEP price obtained is Rp74,594.00/seed, the value of the BEP of revenue obtained is Rp5,655.190,00 then it is worth cultivating, Based on the results of more than one R/C value (R/C > 1), so it can be concluded that the Pekayon Catfish Seed business provides profits and is worth trying.
