Abstract

This research is about the Effect of Straight Leg-Bound Exercise on Leg Muscle Power in Ekskul Pencak Silat Ekstrakurikuler Pencak Silat SMK Bina Nusa Kabupaten Bekasi. Program Studi Pendidikan Jasmani Kesehatan dan Rekreasi, Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan, Universitas Islam 45. This study aims to determine the effect of straight leg-bound training on leg muscle power in the Pencak Silat extracurricular activity at SMK Bina Nusa Kabupaten Bekasi. The method used in this study was an experiment with a one-group pre-test post-test design. The sample consisted of 15 members of the Pencak Silat extracurricular activity. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The results of the data calculation showed that the average score in the pre-test increased from 26.80 to 41.80 in the post-test, with an average increase of 15.00. This can be seen from the results of the T-test, with a calculated T-value of 15.45 > T-table 2.145 and a significance value of α = 0.05%. This study concludes that there is a significant influence of Straight Leg-Bound Exercise on leg muscle power in the Pencak Silat Extracurricular at Bina Nusa Vocational School.
