Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Islamic religious education in developing positive character among youth in Gempol Village, Cakung. Islamic religious education is considered an important medium for developing moral and ethical values that can shape good character in the younger generation. The research method used was a qualitative case study approach, involving observation, interviews, and documentation as data collection techniques. The results indicate that Islamic religious education implemented through regular religious study activities, moral development, and leadership training based on Islamic values can increase awareness and positive behavior among youth in the area. Furthermore, the role of religious and community leaders is very influential in supporting the success of this educational program. This study concludes that the consistent and structured implementation of Islamic religious education can be an effective strategy for developing positive character among youth, thereby making a real contribution to social and moral progress in Gempol Village, Cakung.
