Abstract

Sexual education and reproductive health are important elements in character building and awareness in each generation. From an Islamic perspective, this topic does not only focus on biological aspects, but also emphasizes spiritual and ethical values in accordance with religious teachings. However, the topic of sexuality is still a taboo issue for Indonesian society, so the Instagram account @taulebih.id is here to disseminate information on sexual education and reproductive health based on Islam. This study aims to determine how @taulebih.id educates the public about sexuality and reproductive health from an Islamic perspective. Through a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques consisting of interviews, in-depth, observation and documentation. This study is expected to provide an understanding and knowledge of sexuality and reproductive health from an Islamic perspective. The results obtained from this study are that the Instagram account @taulebih.id actively constructs messages on sexual education and reproductive health that convey messages on Islamic values. Then the messages are packaged in the form of infographic content, carousels and short videos and the @taulebih.id account has succeeded in increasing public understanding regarding reproductive health education.
