Abstract

ABSTRACK Welding is a method of joining materials that have iron properties by melting certain iron and attaching it to the two materials. Welding has several different methods, namely SMAW, GTAW, GMAW, and many more. One of the welding methods used in the industrial world is GMAW (Gas Metal Arc Welding). The method of uniting by melting a number of base metals together with filler metal, which is generally known as a welding technique. In the industrial world, there are many types and types of low carbon steel that can be used as the basic material for a product or component and one of them is SPCC (Steel Plate Carbon Could). Tensile testing is a test carried out on materials to determine the characteristics and mechanical properties of the material, especially strength and resistance to tensile loads. Non-destructive testing is a test or inspection of material to determine the presence of defects or cracks. Destructive testing is a test tool on materials that are tested by damaging them and one of them is the Tensile test.
