Abstract

This research aims to identify risks that have occurred and may occur at BTN Syariah and what strategies are taken by BTN Syariah in dealing with risks to minimize the risk of sharia compliance. This research uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews and documentation with four informants at Human Capital Support, Sub Branch Head, Financing Service and Customer Service at BTN Syariah KC Bekasi The results of this research indicate that BTN Syariah Bekasi contains sharia risks that may occur and that have occurred. Possible risks include compliance issues that may arise in the future such as non-compliance with procedures that have been implemented. This procedure refers to the Fatwa DSN and the P2SK. The risks that occur are problems of indiscipline regarding SOP (Standard Operational Procedur) and non-compliance with sharia towards the above regulations. BTN Syariah has a strategy for management in dealing with sharia compliance risks by implementing planning and creating strict procedures, then organizing activities and direction to minimize compliance risks by carrying out routine training, outreach, education, and carrying out supervision by means of Surprise Audits. BTN Syariah has a management strategy to manage sharia compliance risks. The management strategy is to implement SOP, regular training and audits to ensure compliance and ask employees to sign integrity pacts. BTN Syariah Bekasi has been effective in managing sharia compliance risks and ensuring that its operations comply with sharia principles.
