Abim Triatna . 41182911200014. THE ROLE OF ISLAMIC RELIGIOUS EDUCATION TEACHERS IN PREVENTING ONLINE GAME ADDICTION (Case Study of Sirojut Taqwa Middle School Students). Islamic education study program. Faculty of Islamic Religion, Islamic University 45 Bekasi. (1446 H / 2024 M). This research aims to analyze the role of Islamic religious education teachers in preventing online game addiction among students at Sirojut Taqwa Middle School. This research uses qualitative methods with the type of field research. This research is a comprehensive description and explanation of various aspects of the subject regarding a problem that occurs at school. While research sources are through observation, interviews, document analysis. The research results show that Islamic religious education teachers have a strategic role in preventing online game addiction through several methods. First, Islamic religious education teachers provide education about the negative impacts of online game addiction and the importance of balanced time between digital and non-digital activities. Second, Islamic religious education teachers also play a role in creating a positive learning environment, where students feel cared for and motivated to participate in more productive activities. Third, Islamic religious education teachers collaborate with parents and schools to develop programs that support limiting time for playing games and provide interesting alternative activities for students. Islamic religious education teachers have an important role in preventing online game addiction in students. Islamic religious education teachers can act as mentors, educators, motivators and evaluators for students to use technology wisely and responsibly
