Abstract
Health issues that are still considered taboo by society are sexual and reproductive health. Although the issue is still considered taboo by the Indonesian people, the emergence of media that began to inform about sexual and reproductive health is expected that the public will realize the importance of the issue. One of the media that can be used to disseminate information about sexual and reproductive health is Instagram. One of the Instagram accounts that actively discusses sexual and reproductive health is @tabu.id. This research aims to find out how @Tabu.id is engaged in educating the public about sexual and reproductive health through social media and correcting myths or misinformation. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques of observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results showed that Instagram @tabu.id has conformity with Roland Bathes' semiotic theory which consists of Denotative Signs, Connotative Markers, Connotative Markers and myths. Tabu.id uses simple symbols so that readers can understand easily. The meaning of symbols in each upload by tabu.id is important in shaping the understanding of its readers. With the Instagram media used by @tabu.id, Instagram is the right media to teach sex education, especially among teenagers who shape technological developments. and the presence of tabu.id has proven effective in educating and straightening out myths about sexual and reproductive health in society.
