Abstract

Tom Ogle, was listed as the inventor of the Vapor Carburetor in 1971. With this discovery, vehicle fuel consumption became much more efficient compared to conventional carburetors. In the midst of increasingly expensive non-subsidized gasoline, and despite the potential danger of LPG gas cylinder explosions, the author created a tool whose working principle is similar to that discovered by Tom Ogle. An electric generator fueled by gasoline steam might be one answer to the problem above. The author compares several diameter sizes of pipes (hoses) on the market as input for a mixture of gasoline and air from fuel vapor (pertalite). From the test results, maximum results were obtained on samples with a pipe diameter of 1/2 inch, producing the smallest Specific Fuel Consumption (SFC), namely 0.1492 kg/hour HP, at this point the most optimal combustion occurred. The larger the pipe diameter, the greater the specific fuel consumption.
