Abstract
Based on the background of writing this thesis, it is to find out the role of the Village Head in Infrastructure Development in Babelan Village, Babelan District, Bekasi Regency and what obstacles are experienced and to find out what efforts are being made to overcome this. obstacle. The research methodology used is a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach, through literature study, observation, interviews and documentation. The main objective of this research is to determine the role of the village head in the development of physical infrastructure in Babelan Village, Babelan District, Bekasi Regency. This research uses Rivai's Theory (2013: 129) with 4 indicators, namely: Coordination, Decision Making, Communication, and Attention to Subordinates. Based on research results on the Role of Village Heads in Development in Babelan Village, Babelan District, Bekasi Regency, there are several obstacles faced, namely: (1) Lack of capacity and insight in the village is very minimal; (2) Lack of communication in development program activities, as well as the role of the community. (3) Lack of socialization carried out in the implementation of development to encourage community participation. Apart from that, the efforts made are: (1) Coordination to carry out training in order to create a sustainable development program; (2) Prepare and plan village development activity programs; (3) Facilities and infrastructure related to development are very important to be improved in the context of implementing development.
