Abstract

This research aimed to examine and explain how the Strategy of the Office of Cooperatives, Small and Medium Enterprises in Bekasi Regency in an effort to empowerment Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises. This research is motivated by the phenomenon of the increasing number of UMKM every year and the programs implemented by DiskopUKM. This study uses a qualitative method. Data was collected by using interview, recording, and note-taking techniques. Sources of data came from 4 informants including the Section for Empowerment Micro Enterprises in DiskopUKM Bekasi Regency and 3 of them were UMKM subject. The results of this study indicate that the Office of Cooperatives, Small and Medium Enterprises of Bekasi Regency in carrying out its program is quite good based on indicators that are used as reference material in carrying out research.
