Abstract

Common problems when growing hydroponic plants manually are incorrect water dosage and continuous changes in nutrition. The right solution to face this problem is to create a control system for hydroponic plants that can control water levels and continuous changes in nutrients. The money research object observed in this research is a device consisting of an Arduino Uno as the main board. In this tool there are several sensors, namely the TDS sensor, pH sensor and HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensor which are placed on top of the water reservoir. The TDS sensor and pH sensor are in the water reservoir, while the ultrasonic sensor is above the water reservoir to detect the water level. All the sensors used will be managed by Arduino Uno. From the results of testing the accuracy of the TDS sensor 15 times, the average error value can be concluded. When testing a solution with a ppm value of 473, an error value of 5% was obtained, while with a ppm value of 674, an error value of 5% was obtained. By testing the accuracy of the pH sensor 15 times, the average error value can be concluded. When testing a solution with a pH value of 4.00, an error value of 4% was obtained and with a p value of 6.86, an error value of 4% was obtained. The system successfully controls water levels and nutrient levels as well as monitoring water pH. To control water level and nutrient levels, it can be controlled using multi-sensors.
