Abstract
Full Automatic Vacuum Blood Tube Machine is one of the machines found at PT. ALAT KESEHATAN in Cikarang Area which is used to produce Vacuum blood tubes. The blood tube cap in the production process is often inverted, due to the air pressure that drops during the process in the vacuuming and cap pressing machine along with the roller bowl on the cap feeding advice machine that is still running. The inverted cap position will continue to the finish process on the Full Automatic Vacuum Blood Tube machine which results in NG products, so man power is needed to monitor the inverted cap to correct the cap position to the normal position and turn off the cap adding machine temporarily. Therefore, to overcome this, a modification of the PLC program and the addition of a cylinder sensor as a product anticipation step is carried out so that all cap products are not inverted. From the results of this modification, it has been confirmed its efficiency by testing ten batches with the number of each batch of 5000 products and none of the blood tube caps are upside down or 0% NG products, so there is no need for additional man power to monitor and additional compressor machines to stabilize air pressure at 5bar.
