Abstract

The study is composed to measure the business and social performance of Indonesian Islamic Banking using the Islamicity Performance Index from 2020 to 2022. The variables were used including Profit Sharing Ratio and Islamic Income vs Non-Islamic Income Ratio to measure business performance, while the Zakat Performance Ratio and Equitable Distribution Ratio are for social performance. The study uses purposive sampling methodology to get the sample from 12 Indonesian Islamic Banking. For each sample, the study uses secondary data obtained from its Annual Report. The study implements a quantitative research methodology with multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS 22. The independent variables include Profit Sharing Ratio and Islamic Income vs Non-Islamic Income Ratio, Zakat Performance Ratio, and Equitable Distribution Ratio. At the same time, the dependent variable is the profitability (ROA). The result of the study shows that only Zakat Performance Ratio (ZPR) has positive impact against profitability (ROA), The result of the study shows that only Zakat Performance Ratio (ZPR) has positive impact on profitability (ROA), while Profit Sharing Ratio (PSR), Profit Sharing Ratio (PSR), Equitable Distribution Ratio (EDR), and Islamic Income vs non-Islamic Income Ratio (IIR) does not have any impact at all.
