Abstract

Self-confidence is one of the factors that comes from within the individual that is very important, because self-confidence is needed to achieve life goals. However, there are times when a person feels so confident and there are also times when a person feels insecure. Low self-confidence can potentially jeopardize mental health. The most common mental disorders are anxiety, behavioral, attention- deficit/hyperactivity, and depression. One of the movements to deal with low self- confidence is the love myself campaign, a social campaign created by Bangtan Sonyeondan or known as BTS. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the love myself campaign on increasing Bekasi ARMY's self-confidence. This research uses an explanatory quantitative method with descriptive analysis with a data collection technique of 90 respondents. The results of this study indicate that the love myself campaign has a significant effect on increasing Bekasi ARMY's self-confidence with a regression coefficient value of 0.604 and a coefficient of determination value of 56.6%. This means that in percentage terms the love myself campaign has an effect of 56,6% on increasing Bekasi ARMY's self- confidence.
