Abstract

This research was conducted to find out that emotion regulation can lower the aggressive behavior of students at SMK Yapin 02 Setu. This study used a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental design in the form of a One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. This training begins with giving a pre-test and after being given the treatment is given a post-test. Subjects in this study amounted to 40 students. by using sampling "Simple random sampling". This study used a training module and an aggressive behavior scale with a reliability value of Alpha Cornbach's 0.886. The data analysis technique uses the Independent sample t-test. This study shows that there is an effect of emotion regulation training to lower aggressive behavior in adolescents. Based on the results of the Independent sample t-test for the experimental group, the results of the pre-test and post-test showed Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.020 (p <0.05), so it can be concluded that there are differences in the level of aggressive behavior in the experimental group before and after being given training.
