Abstract

This study aims to demonstrate the importance of applying Islamic character to MTS students Nurul Huda Kayuringin Jaya Kota Bekasi, with the absence of Islamic characters cultivated to students, then the threat to morality and good behavior will easily occur. This is due to the high role of emerging technology and the rapid era of social media influence. MTS Nurul Huda was taken as the subject of this scripture census because the school is located in the middle of the town of Bekasi and the city that is the refuser of the capital and many global developments that entered the territory of the city of Bekazi quickly. On the basis of this, the police formulated three problems, namely the first: How urgent is the implementation of the Islamic character of MTS students Nurul Huda Kayuringin Jaya Kota Bekasi? And secondly, what are the inhibitory and supportive factors in conducting the Islamic character of MTS students Nurul Huda Kayuringin Jaya Kota Bekasi? And thirdly, how did the attempt to implement the Islamic character in MTS students Nurul Huda? Based on the results of research and analysis of the discussion, it can be argued that the importance (urgent) of applying Islamic character to students of MTS Nurul Huda Kota Bekasi is already at the level of necessity, because the application of Islamic characters is a guardian for every student in the face of bad behavior that is often seen on social media through the telecommunications tools used every day. As for the impeding factor is the lack of confidence in the reading of the Qur'an and the supporting factor in increasing one of the Islamic characters is the creation of an honest kantin by the school, while the implementation of Islamic character to the students of MTS Nurul Huda Kayuringinjaya City of Bekasi is to do tadarus al-Kuran and the prayer dhuha every day and plus the complexity of rewards and punishment against each individual student of the MTS Nurul Huda Kayuringinjya City of Bekasi
