Abstract
The rate of population growth in Bekasi City, which continues to increase every year, has a major influence on the volume of vehicle traffic in Bekasi City. The volume of vehicles is quite high and the problems that occur at intersections have resulted in quite long accumulations of vehicles on each road section of the intersection. The aim of this research is to determine the level of service quality at the intersection in existing conditions and provide alternative solutions to improve the quality of service at the intersection. The method used is to analyze intersection traffic performance using PKJI 2014 and simulating it with Vissim software. The results of calculating the capacity of the Pekayon signalized intersection, the saturation degree value for each intersection arm is 0.896. The results of analysis using Vissim software show that the average intersection delay value is 54.50 seconds and the LOS is E in existing conditions. Of the four scenarios given, scenario 4 can be used as the best alternative solution to improve the quality of service at Pekayon signalized intersections with an average intersection delay value of 24.87 seconds/currency and an LOS of C carried out by changing the route of large vehicles on Jalan Jenderal Ahmad Yani South side to Jalan Jenderal Ahmad Yani on North side and change the signal cycle time to 100 seconds.
