Abstract
ABSTRACT This research is based on the results of observations made by the author that the supervision of the Village Head's performance by the Village Consultative Board in Sukarahayu Village has carried out its main functions properly. Therefore, the author is interested in conducting further research with the title of thesis “Supervision of village head performance by the village Consultative Board in Sukarahayu Village, Tambelang District, Bekasi Regency. “ The purpose of this research is to find out how the Village Consultative Body supervises the performance of the Village Head in Sukarahayu Village, Tambelang District, to find out the factors that become obstacles in Supervising the performance of the Village Head in Sukarahayu Village and to find out what efforts are being made to overcome obstacles in supervising the performance of village heads in Sukarahayu Village, Tambelang District, Bekasi Regency. In supervising the performance of village heads in Sukarahayu Village, Tambelang District, Bekasi Regency, the theory of Handayaningrat (2001) is used which suggests several indicators for supervising the performance of village heads, including the following (1) Supervision is connected to someone's plans. (2) Supervision must be linked to the individual. (3) Supervision must show deviations, (4) Supervision must be objective, (5) Supervision must lead to corrective action. This research uses a descriptive analysis research method, using observation and interview data collection techniques. The informants are village officials, head of RT 12 and head of hamlet 1 in Sukarahayu Village, Tambelang District, Bekasi Regency. The results of the research show that monitoring of the performance of village heads by the village consultative body in Sukarahayu Village, Tambelang District, Bekasi Regency has been going well. Even though it is generally good, there are a few obstacles it faces, namely monitoring and communication which is still lacking. The efforts made by the Village Consultative Body are by improving monitoring and communicating better with Village Government Apparatus in Sukarahayu Village, Tambelang District, Bekasi Regency.
