Abstract
The decision to use media is influenced by several factors, such as media content, relationship with the content used, and how to consume it. The aim of this research is to analyze the effectiveness of the Podkesmas Podcast media on Spotify on Fulfilling the Entertainment Needs of Class 2019 Unisma 45 Bekasi Students. This type of research is survey research using quantitative research methods. Because seen from the side and its use is in accordance with what research was conducted by the author, namely to find out whether there is effectiveness of the Podkesmas podcast media on spotify by fulfilling the entertainment needs of students class of 2019 Unisma 45 Bekasi. based on the calculated t value in this study of 6.212 while the t table value of 1.987. so that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. This shows that there is an influence between the effectiveness of podcast media on fulfilling entertainment needs. A determination coefficient value of (R2) of 0.563 means that the effectiveness of the Podkesmas podcast media has an influence of 56.3% on meeting the entertainment needs of Unisma 45 Bekasi students class of 2019. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, it can be concluded that there is a relationship between the effectiveness of podcast media and the fulfillment of entertainment needs (Ha accepted).
