Abstract

Early marriage is a form of social behavior tendency that occurs a lot at this time. Divorce from early married couples is a phenomenon that also occurs a lot, with various background problems. This study aims to describe the views of community leaders on divorce due to early marriage in Jatiasih District, Bekasi City. This study uses a qualitative research approach with data collection techniques through interviews and field observations at the research location, namely the RW 05 Kelurahan Jatirasa, kecamatan Jatiasih, Kota Bekasi. The results of the research were obtained, namely, marriage as something that is a human need is human nature that cannot be avoided, even has a legal basis both in religion and statutory regulations. However, consideration of maturity for early marriage couples is something that must be considered to ensure that the marriage that is carried out has a lasting marriage period. According to community leaders, several factors in the occurrence of divorce from early marriage include: (a) Formal Education and Religious Education, (b) The Role of Parents.
