Abstract
ABSTRACT Asdi Cesar Mualif : 41182911160016. CORRELATION OF THE USE OF THE PUMPING METHOD WITH STUDENTS' LEARNING ACHIEVEMENT IN MI AS SYADZILIYAH. Islamic Religious Education, Faculty of Islamic Religion, “45” Bekasi Islamic University, (1445/2023). The problem that arises when learning Islamic religious education is the low learning outcomes of students, because in the learning process the teacher still uses conventional methods where students only listen, discuss. One way to improve learning outcomes in Islamic religious education is by using the Pumping Student method. This study aims to determine the effect of applying the Pumping Student method to the learning outcomes of Islamic religious education for students in class I and II MI As Syadziliyah. This research is a Quasy Experiment conducted at MI As Syadziliyah. The research design used in this Quasy Experiment is the Nonequivalent Control Group Design. This research was carried out in November 2022 - April 2023 using a descriptive quantitative research method. The data collection technique used is using a questionnaire for variable X and using report card value documentation for variable Y. The data analysis technique used in this study uses a normality test, homogeneous test, linear test, correlational test and hypothesis testing. The results of research findings conducted on class I and II MI As Syadziliyah students found that the correlation between the use of the pumping method and student achievement had a moderate relationship with an r value of 0.361. The positive relationship is that the better the use of the Pumping Method, the better Student Learning Achievement. It can be seen from the large coefficient of determination of 97.2% using the pumping method and student achievement. Based on this, it can be concluded that to improve student achievement at MI As Syadziliyah, it can be done by increasing the use of the pumping method properly. The results of the t-test calculations that have been carried out in the experimental class and the control class, it is obtained that tcount obtains a value of 3.27 ttable is 2.00 so the result is tcount> ttable. So, it can be concluded that there is an effect of using the Pumping Student method on the learning outcomes of Islamic religious education for students in class I and II MI As Syadziliyah Keywords: Student Learning Achievement, Pumping Method.
