Abstract

This research is motivated by problems of educational practice in Civics learning that takes place in the classroom which are only oriented towards achieving cognitive goals, matters relating to the process of forming character or student attitudes tend to be ignored, teachers have difficulties in implementing character education, teachers do not fully understand character education, schools. This happens as a result of a lack of proper training for teachers and the increasingly advanced currents of globalization, as a result teachers have to find the right solution. This can be overcome by implementing character education in Civics learning. This study examines the description of the implementation of character education in Civics learning. The method used in this study is the SLR (systematic literature review) method by systematically reviewing and analyzing journals. The sample analysis is 10 journal articles that have been published in the 2015-2022 range, from the 10 journals then researchers analyze from various aspects including: 1). Based on the year of research, 2). Based on the research area, 3). Based on the research method, 4). Judging from the values of character education, 5). In terms of character education strategy, based on the results of an analysis of 10 journal articles and from various aspects of understanding, it can be concluded that character education can be a solution to overcoming and reducing the phenomenon of moral problems.
