Abstract

In human life it is always bound to fulfill its needs through communication activities. It means to imply an idea, interest or something like a message shared in the same way in communicating. today's era teenagers often use the word – word toxic when communicating, how do teens feel normal in saying rude (toxic), what is the word – word toxic can be effective for communicating a day – teen day. This research successfully examines how behavior and communication toxic teenagers in daily life when with parents and friends. By using Ethnometodology theory, to analyze how adolescents behave and communicate toxic. This study uses a qualitatively descriptive method with a case study approach. The results of the study explain that behavior and communication toxic adolescents are caused by association or environmental, teenagers tend to imitate friends in behaving and communicating. Shows that teenagers are communicating or behaving toxic only to friends. Teenagers can be two different characters, teenagers are more open when with friends in behaving and communicating whereas when in the home of teenagers tend to be individuals who are polite in behaving or communicating.
