Abstract

Reading aloud skills are still relatively low in learning Indonesian. This is evidenced by the small number of students who are less able to read aloud. Students are not excited, lazy to read aloud, confused in pronouncing words, making sentences with the correct intonation. To learn to read aloud required a learning method. The learning method is a way of using learning resources in the active learning process of students and achieving learning goals. So that students' reading skills can be increased by using the Demonstration Method. The demonstration method is a method of presenting lessons by demonstrating and showing students a process, situation or object, real or just an imitation. In addition to the presentation method, the teacher's explanation cannot be separated. Even in the demonstration method, students only need to pay attention.
