Abstract

This study aims to examine and explain how Community Participation is involved in the Covid-19 Vaccination. This research is motivated by the phenomenon of the emergence of the Corona Virus, so the government is handling it through Covid-19 vaccination activities. The problem in this study is that it is known that community participation in vaccination activities is not optimal, as well as the lack of socialization given to the public regarding Covid-19 Vaccination in Bantargebang District. This study uses a qualitative method. Data collection is done by observation, interviews, and documentation. Data sources came from 6 informants including the Secretary of Bantargebang District, Head of Social Welfare for Sumur Batu Village and Cikiwul Village, Health Workers, and the local community. The results of this study indicate that community participation in vaccine participation has been going quite well. Another finding is that almost all people in RT002/RW002 Sumur Batu Village do not vaccinate because they have strong principles and the influence of culture.
