Abstract
As the era of information technology is currently increasing, as well as website-based applications are increasingly being used among the wider community, because they can be accessed easily on various communication tools by running a website browser. So it can be easy to create a website server environment. The creation of Docker technology can also bring some changes, such as a program along with its libraries, configuration files and all the things it needs can be bound in a container. Docker is an open-source project that can provide an open platform for developers as well as sysadmins to be able to form, package, and run software anywhere into a lightweight container. The results of the application of the server website using the Docker manager become a Virtual Machine manager on the server by simplifying the management of software in the container, so that the results of this implementation mean a website that can display the results of containerization using Docker Compose. The purpose of implementing server virtualization based on docker containers on ubuntu server 20.04 LTS, makes the website more stable, because applications and resources are isolated separately so that users can adjust the needs of each application without affecting the configuration of other applications.
