Abstract

Automotive technology in Indonesia is growing, following the condition of the Indonesian people who have high mobility in transportation advice. The impact of these developments in fuel is also increasing the number of users. Additives are used to provide improved basic properties and high octane number values can improve engine performance. The research variables include the independent variables, namely the percentage of addative and pertalite mixtures, while the variables are related to engine compression variation. The data obtained will be plotted in the table, and the addition of addictive substances will improve the combustion process which will reduce CO, CO2, HC, increase oxygen consumption (O2), and will eliminate NOx compounds. The quality of Pertalite can be determined from the amount of isooctane content or also known as the octane number value. The higher the octane number, the more efficient the pertalite combustion process is. To determine the performance, the fuel consumption of the 125 cc gasoline fuel injection motor is used to compare the performance results of pure pertalit fuel using an additive eco recing substance.
