Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is an influence between the variables of family social support and religiosity with marriage readiness in early adulthood. This research is a quantitative research with Qouta Sampling method. Thus, the sampling technique used is non-probability sampling. Data collection was carried out using preliminary interviews and psychological scale questionnaires on family social support, religiosity and marriage readiness. The reliability test was carried out using Cronbach's Alpha technique with the help of SPSS version 25 for windows and produced a value of ralpha = 0.993 for the family social support scale, ralpha = 0.973 for the religiosity scale, ralpha = 0.934 for the marriage readiness scale. Testing the hypothesis using Rank Spearman Rho Correlation, in testing the first hypothesis for the relationship between family social support and marriage readiness variables yields a correlation coefficient r = 0.420, p = 0.000, (p <0.05), which means there is a positive relationship between family social support with readiness to marry. Then in testing the second hypothesis for the relationship between religiosity and marriage readiness variables, it produces a correlation coefficient of r=0.576, p=0.000 (p<0.05), which means that there is a positive relationship between religiosity and marriage readiness. In testing the correlation of multiple linear regression using the help of SPSS version 25 for Windows, it produces a value of F = 20.481, p = 0.000 (p <0.05), which means that there is an influence between family social support and religiosity with readiness to marry in early adult urban students. Bekasi. By obtaining a coefficient of determination R2 (R Square) of 0.379, it is said that family social support, religiousness contributes 37.9% to marriage readiness, while 62.1% is influenced by variables not examined in this study.
