Abstract
This research aims to explain how the Bekasi City DPPKB's efforts in preventing child marriages are. As well as to find out how the Maqasid Syariah review of the efforts to prevent child marriages carried out by the Bekasi City DPPKB. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods, namely finding facts by studying problems in society and a particular institution by providing an overview of the phenomena that occur. The ultimate goal is to give predicates to the variables studied in accordance with the actual conditions that occur in the field. The result of the research isseeing the impact of child marriage, the efforts to prevent child marriage carried out by the Office of Population Control and Family Planning (DPPKB) of Bekasi City were an effort that was in accordance with the maqasid of sharia, namely to maintain religion (Hifz ad-din), maintain soul (Hifz al-Nafs), maintaining the mind (Hifz al-Aql), maintaining offspring (Hifz an-Nasl) and maintaining property (Hifz al-Maal). The efforts carried out by the Bekasi City DPPKB include implementing programs such as the Maturation of Marriage Age (PUP) which is a subprogram of the Generation Planning (GenRe) program. What followed was the Youth Family Development (BKR) and the Youth Information and Counseling Center (PIK R).
