Abstract

Mohamad Setyo Widodo (41183402160108) Raw Material Inventory Control and Determination of Production Patterns to Increase Cost Efficiency (Study at PT Sarimelati Kencana PHD Outlet Branch Cikarang Barat, Bekasi Regency) Xiv + 103 pages + 20 tables + 4 charts + 6 pictures + 10 attachments Keywords: Raw Materials, EOQ, Savety Stock, Reorder Point, Production Pattern. The purpose of this study was to determine the proper and proper control of raw material inventory at PT Sarimelati Kencana PHD Cikarang Barat outlet branch. In addition, this study also aims to determine the right production pattern to increase cost efficiency in West Cikarang PHD. This type of research is quantitative descriptive by explaining how the raw material inventory control applied by the company from the data obtained, then analyzed using the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method. Then also use the incremental cost analysis method, which is to analyze the amount of additional costs incurred in each production pattern. Based on the results of the study, it shows that controlling raw material inventory using the EOQ method can minimize inventory costs, then from the analysis of the calculation of the total incremental cost of the three production pattern methods, namely constant, wavy and moderate production patterns. The most effective and efficient production pattern in minimizing costs is a constant production pattern because it produces the smallest additional costs. From the results of this study can provide alternative options for companies for the purpose of minimizing costs. Bibliography : 31 (2001-2021)
