Abstract
The implementation of the Regent Regulation of Bekasi No. 20 of 2019 concerning the management of Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDesa) in Sukadami Village, South Cikarang District, has been carried out in accordance with its duties and functions as stipulated in the regulation. The Regent Regulation of Bekasi No. 20 of 2019 on the Management of Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDesa) serves as a legal framework governing the governance and management of business entities owned by local governments, both at the village and regency levels. The purpose of this regulation is to ensure transparent, accountable, and efficient management of BUMDesa, which ultimately aims to improve the welfare of communities at both the village and regency levels. As stated in Chapter III of the regulation concerning the Organizational Structure and Management of BUMDesa, the formation and management of BUMDesa must be structured and involve community participation. It emphasizes the importance of clear organizational structures, as well as accountability and transparency in all aspects of business operations. BUMDesa is expected to serve as a driving force for economic activities in the village, functioning both as a social institution and a commercial entity.
