Abstract
Annisa Aulia Rahma, 41182911210050 "Islamic Education Curriculum in the Book of Ihya' 'Ulumuddin Karya Imam Ghazali'' Islamic Religious Education Study Program, Faculty of Islamic Religion, Islamic University 45 Bekasi. This research is motivated by the phenomenon of moral degradation and ethical crises in the contemporary educational environment, such as the increase in cases of bullying and violence after the pandemic. This phenomenon indicates that Islamic education has not fully succeeded in comprehensively internalizing character values, so it is necessary to revitalize the solid philosophical foundation of the curriculum through classical works. This research aims to describe the concept of the Islamic education curriculum according to Imam Ghazali in the Book of Ihya' 'Ulumuddin, explain the strategic role of teachers in its implementation, and elaborate on the relevance of the concept to the challenges of Islamic education today. This research uses a qualitative approach with the type of library research. The primary data source is the translation of the Book of Ihya' 'Ulumuddin volume 1 by Imam Ghazali, while the secondary data includes government documents, books, and journal articles related to the Islamic education curriculum. The data collection technique is carried out through documentation with qualitative descriptive analysis to systematically describe the facts and characteristics of the figures' thinking precisely. The results of the analysis found that the construction of the Islamic education curriculum from the perspective of Imam Ghazali is a holistic-transformative model that integrates the spiritual and moral dimensions with the main orientation on tazkiyatun nafs (purification of the soul) in order to achieve the degree of human being. The success of this curriculum is highly dependent on the role of teachers as murabbi (spiritual guides) who have high moral integrity and become role models (uswah hasanah) for students. The conclusion of the study confirms that Ghazali's educational philosophy has a very high relevance as a solution to contemporary moral crises and has significant alignment with the dimensions of the Pancasila Student Profile in the Merdeka Curriculum Keywords: Islamic Education Curriculum, Imam Ghazali, Character Building
