Abstract
This research is based on the phenomenon of discounting iabadah behavior in early childhood, where children show high discipline in performing prayers in school environments. However, it tends to be inconsistent when at home. Key issues identified include the limited time parents have due to economic demands in urban areas, the lack of parental understanding of proper methods of habitation, and the strong influence of digital content that distracts children from spiritual activities. This study aims to deeply analyze the role of parents as the main educators, identify practical strategies implemented to build consistency in worship, and spread the impact of this role on the formation of children's religious character in RAAL Huda West Bekasi. The theoretical foundation of the study is based on Albert Bandura's Social Learning Theory, which emphasizes that children learn through observation and imitation of the behavior of the surrounding people. This theory is reinforced by the principle of "uswah Hasanah" in Islamic education, which places parental example as the main instrument in the internalization of religious values. In addition, the concept of habitation in the golden age (ages 0–6 years old) became the basic argument that character cultivation is much more effective through routine actions than cognitive understanding alone. The research method used is descriptive skin with a research location at RA Al Huda West Bekasi. The research findings show that parents at RA Al Huda perform dual roles as role models, motivators, companions, and supervisors. Strategies implemented include modeling methods through congregational prayer. Providing positive motivation, and strict monitoring of the use of gadgets so as not to interfere with the worship schedule. However, a significant challenge was found in the form of a lack of methodological knowledge, in which 41.7% of parents admitted that they had difficulty implementing effective methods of habitation in the digital age. Overall, the active role of parents has been shown to have a positive impact on the child's motor, cognitive, and social–emotional development, as well as fostering a humble and disciplined attitude early on. This study concluded that the success of establishing prayer habits depends heavily on synergies and intensive communication between school education and consistency practices in the family environment.
