Abstract
This research aims to analyze the development of sports achievement at the National Paralympic Committee Indonesia (NPCI) Bekasi Regency as the organization responsible for fostering athletes with disabilities across various sports. The achievement record of NPCI Bekasi Regency, including being crowned the General Champion of Peparda VI West Java in 2022 and contributing 59 medals at Peparnas XVII 2024, underscores the importance of effective achievement management. The research employed a qualitative method with a descriptive approach, utilizing a triangulation research instrument involving interviews and documentation. The interview guidelines used were validated by certified experts in the fields of coaching, sports science, and sports management from outside NPCI Bekasi Regency, thus ensuring the research instrument is valid and suitable for use. The findings indicate that the achievement development program at NPCI Bekasi Regency has been executed effectively, evidenced by numerous accomplishments achieved at regional, national, and international levels, a clear organizational structure, a well-planned training system, and high motivation from both athletes and coaches. Supporting factors for this development include experienced and licensed coaches, strong family support, and training facilities that are almost entirely met. The athlete talent scouting process, carried out by the achievement division, is deemed quite effective, as the process starts early and involves collaboration with partners. Supervision for both athletes and coaches is conducted well due to effective communication.Meanwhile, constraints identified include limited infrastructure, particularly the lack of an owned private venue, necessitating the rental of public sports halls, and the issue of athletes participating in multiple sports, leading to a lack of focus on a single discipline.
