Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of psychological capital and gratitude on the subjective well-being of employees at PT. Logam Utama Sejahtera. A quantitative method was used with 92 respondents selected through simple random sampling. Data were collected using interviews and psychological scales: the Psychological Capital Questionnaire (PCQ) by Luthans (r = 0.938), Gratitude Scale by Watkins (r = 0.914), and the Subjective Well-Being Scale by Diener (r = 0.921). Data analysis employed descriptive statistics, Spearman rank correlation, and multiple linear regression. Results showed a significant positive relationship between psychological capital and subjective well-being (r = 0.663; p = 0.000), and between gratitude and subjective well-being (r = 0.449; p = 0.000). Together, psychological capital and gratitude accounted for 62.7% of the variance in subjective well-being (R² = 0.627; F = 74.92; p < 0.000).
