Abstract

In all corners of Indonesia, from cities to villages, there is a dependence on cash transactions, which are often vulnerable to security risks and lack of transparency. Through digitalization in all local governments, it is not just about technological innovation but also a step to accelerate regional to national economic growth. The objective of this research is to analyze the implementation of Smart Government through the Acceleration and Expansion of Regional Digitalization Program (P2DD) in the Special Region of Jakarta, analyze strategies, and analyze community perceptions about the Acceleration and Expansion of Regional Digitalization Program (P2DD) in the Special Region of Jakarta. This research uses a Constructivist paradigm with qualitative research methods accompanied by a case study research approach. The data collection techniques include observation, in-depth interviews, documentation, as well as informant selection using purposive sampling and snowball sampling techniques. The data analysis technique includes data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research results indicate that the P2DD program in Jakarta has shown significant progress in the digitization of public services, particularly in regional financial transactions. The P2DD program also demonstrates a strong commitment to realizing Smart Government through engagement government agencies. However, challenges such as coordination, human resource readiness, and infrastructure equity still need to be addressed. Despite the positive perception of the public towards this program, improving applications, enhancing digital literacy, and ensuring equitable internet access remain priorities so that digitization can be felt inclusively by all layers of society.
