Fakultas Agama Islam.. Universitas Islam “45” Bekasi. (2025 M/1446 H) This study aims to analyze strategies to improve Generation Z's understanding of Islamic banking in Bekasi City, focusing on Gen Z in the An-Nur Islamic Boarding School in North Bekasi. The background of this study is based on the low level of Islamic financial literacy and inclusion among the Indonesian people, especially Gen Z, even though the majority of the population is Muslim. Based on data from the Financial Services Authority (OJK) in 2022 and 2024, the Islamic financial literacy index only reached 9.14% and 39.11%, while the level of Islamic financial inclusion stagnated at 12.12% and 12.88%, indicating a gap between knowledge and use of Islamic banking services. The method used in this study is a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collection techniques through interviews and documentation. The research informants consisted of students, college students, and administrators of the An-Nur Islamic Boarding School who are included in the Gen Z category. The results of the study show that Gen Z's understanding of Islamic banks is still limited to basic aspects, such as avoiding usury and the existence of a profit-sharing system, but has not touched on a deep understanding of Islamic contracts and the operational principles of Islamic banks as a whole. The main obstacles found include the lack of effective socialization, the lack of relevant educational materials, and the difficulty of understanding technical terms in Islamic banking.
