Abstract

Work engagement is a positive and satisfying mental state related to work matters characterized by vigor, dedication, and absorption. This study aims to determine the effect of psychological contract and psychological well being on work engagement at PT FSCM Manufacturing Indonesia.This study used simple random sampling technique with a total sample of 86 employees at PT. FSCM Manufacturing Indonesia. Data collection methods using interviews and psychological scales psychological contract from Rousseau, psychological well being from Ryff and Singer, and work engagement from Schaufeli. Instrument reliability test using Alpha Crobach formula scale X1 = 0.949, scale X2 = 0.947 and scale Y = 0.923. Data analysis using multiple linear regression. Multiple linear regression test results between psychological contract and psychological well being on work engagement. The results of multiple linear regression tests between psychological contract and psychological well being on work engagement show a value of F = 77.920 with a significant value of 0.000 (<0.05) meaning that psychological well being and work engagement have an influence on employee work engagement. Psychological contract and Psychological well being provide an effective contribution of 65.2% to the work engagement variable. While the remaining 34.8% is influenced by variables not examined by other studies
