Abstract
Aquarium is one of the places where ornamental and saltwater fish can be cultivated and maintained. The process of maintaining ornamental fish must consider several factors in order to support the life of the fish in the aquarium, one of which is the turbidity of the water in the aquarium. The right solution to deal with this is to create a water turbidity and water level control system. In this study, the object to be studied focuses mainly on creating the Implementation of an Automatic Water Replacement System in an IoT-Based Aquarium that can monitor turbidity and water level. The test results demonstrate the performance of the turbidity sensor and ultrasonic sensor in supporting the automatic water replacement system in the aquarium. In the turbidity sensor tests conducted 10 times, it was found that for clean water with turbidity levels ranging from 0.53 NTU to 2.95 NTU, the drain pump remained off while the fill pump was on. Conversely, for cloudy water with turbidity levels ranging from 4.78 NTU to 6.11 NTU, the drain pump was active (on), and the fill pump was inactive (off). Furthermore, the accuracy tests of the ultrasonic sensor were conducted 10 times at water heights of 5–10 cm. The results showed an average error rate of 2.59%, indicating the sensor's accuracy in measuring water levels.. Keywords: Aquarium, Automatic water changer, Turbidity Sensor, Ultrasonic Sensor.
