Abstract

Melinda Shofari Fauzi Awaliyah, 4118291170101: THE EFFECT OF ONLINE MEDIA GOOGLE CLASSROOM ON STUDENTS' LEARNING INDEPENDENCE IN ISLAMIC RELIGIOUS EDUCATION CLASS VIII SMP ISLAM NUURUSHSHIBYAN (YAPIN) Islamic Religion, CILEUNGSI, Faculty of Religion, Islam, Thesis-. Islamic University “45” Bekasi (UNISMA), 2022. This study aims to determine the effect of online media Google Classroom on student independence in learning Islamic Religious Education subjects for class VIII SMP Islam Nuurushsibyan (YAPIN) Cileungsi-Bogor. This research is a quantitative research with a correlational approach. The population used were students of SMP Islam Nuurushshibyan (YAPIN) Cileungsi class VIII as many as 271 students. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling. Sampling in the study the subject is large or more than 100 people can be taken 10%-15% or 20%-25% or more. From the number of samples determined as much as 15% of the population. From a population of 271 students, 15% was taken, so the number of samples was 15/100 x 271 = 40.65 or rounded up to 41 students. The results showed that the normality test of the statistical test results indicated a value of 0.200> 0.05 (Normal Distributed Data). Furthermore, the correlation coefficient test value was obtained at 0.536 (there is a positive relationship between the X variable and the correlated Y variable). In the simple linear regression test Y = 35.323 + 0.408X. While the coefficient of determination of 0.287 can be interpreted that the effect of variable X on variable Y is 28.7% while the remaining 71.3% is caused by other variables. The results of this study can be concluded that the results of the Pearson Correlations show that there is a positive and significant relationship between Online Learning and Student Learning Independence in Islamic Religious Education Subjects Class VIII SMP Islam Nuurushshibyan (YAPIN) Cileungsi–Bogor. This means that the hypothesis that the researcher proposes is accepted. Keywords: Learning Online, Google Classroom, Independent Learning.
