Abstract

This research examines the lifestyle of urban individuals working in the SCBD area of Jakarta as presented on TikTok through video content. The study aims to explore the representation of the urban worker lifestyle on social media, using descriptive analysis to explain how this lifestyle is represented. Stuart Hall's Circuit of Culture framework is crucial for analyzing how cultural elements represented through lifestyle such as representation, identity, production, consumption, and regulation are depicted. The results of this research reveal how TikTok accounts and videos represent lifestyle aspects including fashion, daily activities, expenditures, and personal experiences.. Keywords: lifestyle, culture, social media, representation
