Abstract
This study aims to determine the thought of KH. Hasyim Asy’ari and Az-Zarnuji about the concept of Educational Ethics, and to know the similarities and differences in educational character the both of tought. This study used a qualitative approach that is both descriptive analysis, the comparison method and the type of study is a literature / library research, namely the collection of data literaturely. Using the techniques of data collection in the form of studying and identifies data related to both personage discussed ideas through various literature sourced in the primer and sekunder about thought of personage both in the researched. The primary data sourced from personal documents of KH. Hasyim Asy’ari dan Az-Zarnuji. And secondary data sourced from scientific publication (books, journals, articles, thesis and mini thesis, etc) about tought of personage both which especially character The results of this study analyze the thoughts of K.H. Hasyim Asy'ari and Syaikh Az-Zarnuji on Islamic educational ethics. Through a comparative approach, this study identifies universal values in their thoughts that are still relevant to be applied in today's educational practices. The results of the study show that the thoughts of the two figures have a significant contribution to the development of Islamic educational ethics and can be a reference in building the character of students and educators who have noble morals.
