Abstract

In the assessment, some people doubt Hasan Al-Banna's credibility in Islamic educational ideas and consider his educational concept to be inconsistent with Islamic education because they do not know the figure of Hasan Al-Banna as a whole. His personal integrity can be seen in his great works. His personal picture can be seen from his consistency in an organization that was founded, namely the Muslim Brotherhood, in this organization Imam Hasan Al-Banna became a Murshid for his cadres who taught Islamic values. In teaching the Mujahids there is the concept of Islamic Education in a work entitled Risalatut Ta'aalim. So the question arises about Hasan Al-Banna's concept of Islamic education which refers to the book Risalatut Ta'aalim and its relevance to Islamic education today. This research aims to determine Hasan Al-Banna's educational concept, especially in his work. This research uses a type of qualitative research whose data analysis technique uses content analysis Based on the results of this research, Hasan Al-Banna's thoughts on Islamic Education include the idea that Islamic Education is a process of developing all human potential and returning to the Al-Qur'an and As-Sunnah which are the foundation of Islamic Education, then the goal of Education Islam according to Hasan Al-Banna is sincerity, because the highest goal is like his motto "Allah is our goal". So, Hasan Al-Banna's thoughts are still very relevant to Islamic education today. Apart from that, his thoughts are also quite relevant because the most basic ideas of Islamic education initiated by Hasan al-Banna are about the foundations or principles of Islamic education, namely based on the teachings of monotheism as an ideology.
