Abstract

Nurul Ainun Qomariah 41182911170038. Modernization of the Islamic boarding school education system at the A-Taqwa Islamic Boarding School Bekasi. Islamic education study program. Faculty of Islamic Religion, Islamic University 45 Bekasi. 1446/2024. The At-Taqwa Bekasi Islamic boarding school is one of the Islamic boarding schools located in Bekasi district, West Java Province which still operates a traditional education system. This means that the quality of education provided cannot always keep up with the times. Therefore, this research aims to find out how the modernization of the education system at the At-Taqwa Bekasi Islamic boarding school can improve the quality of education. The research method used in this research is descriptive analysis method. It is called descriptive, because it describes phenomena as they are, developments that are taking place, trends that are emerging, and opinions that are emerging, both relating to the previous and the present. Through descriptive qualitative research, analysis is intended so that the data and information obtained can be presented clearly and in detail, especially those related to the Modernization of the Education System at the At-Taqwa Bekasi Islamic Boarding School. The results of the research show that modernizing the education system at the At-Taqwa Bekasi Islamic boarding school is very important to improve the quality of education. Modernization of the education system can be done by providing adequate facilities and technology and opening wider access to education. Apart from that, changes need to be made to the curriculum and more interactive teaching methods to keep up with current developments. With the modernization of the education system at the At-Taqwa Bekasi Islamic boarding school, it is hoped that it can improve the quality of education provided by the Islamic boarding school and help prepare the younger generation with adequate abilities to face future challenges.
