Abstract
Muara Gembong is one of 23 sub-districts in Bekasi Regency. Muara Gembong District is famous for its coastal areas in Bekasi Regency. The current condition of Jalan Muara Bungin Muara Gembong Bekasi is still dirt and narrow. Previously there were paving blocks on the road but now it has been damaged, where this road is the main road to Muara Bungin beach so the road needs repair so that tourism in the area can be known by the public if Road access is easy to navigate, to make it easier for visitors who want to come to Muara Bungin beach, this is really needed by residents to support the tourism sector to Muara Bungin beach. Carry out road pavement design during the design life and road service period using the 2002 road construction method by knowing the road pavement thickness index. The data used is LHR (Average Daily Traffic) data and basic soil CBR (California Bearing Ratio) data. The results of calculating the thickness of the flexible pavement layer on the Muara Gembong-Bekasi road section with a design age of 20 years showed that the surface layer was 11 cm thick, the upper foundation layer used class A aggregate 16 cm thick, and the lower foundation layer used class B aggregate 27.18 cm thick.
