Abstract
ABSTRACT The ideal school is able to make students feel prosperous because, almost all aspects of optimizing student functioning are influenced by student well-being at school. This study aims to determine the effect of academic stress and social support on school well-being. This research is a quantitative research. The school well-being research instrument uses the Factor Structure of School Well-Being scale with a reliability of 0.912, academic stress using the ESSA (Educational Stress Scale for Adolescent) scale with a reliability of 0.850, social support based on the theory of Cohen and Hoberman (1983) with a reliability of 0.901. Rank Spearman test results there is a significant strong negative relationship between academic stress and school well-being, there is a significant positive relationship between social support and school well-being. Based on the results of simple linear regression test, academic stress showed 17.9% on school well-being, while social support showed 11.4% on school well-being.
