Abstract

The high unemployment rate, especially at the Strata-1 level, results in career anxiety for final year students at Universitas Islam 45 Bekasi. This study aims to determine the relationship between Future Time Perspective and career anxiety, the relationship between Adversity Quotient and career anxiety, and the influence of Future Time Perspective and Adversity Quotient on career anxiety in college students. The subjects of this study were 271 final year students from 17 study programs at Universitas Islam 45 Bekasi. This study used interviews and psychological scales as data collection methods. Data were analyzed with Spearman Rank correlation and multiple regression. This study found that there is a significant negative relationship between Future Time Perspective and career anxiety (r= -0.353, p<0.000); there is a significant negative relationship between Adversity Quotient and career anxiety (r=-0.488, p<0.000); Future Time Perspective and Adversity Quotient simultaneously affect career anxiety (F= 60.676, p<0.000).
