Abstract
This research aims to determine the relationship between body shaming and body image confidence among students at Karya Guna 1 Bekasi Vocational School. This research is a correlational quantitative research, with research subjects totaling 140 students from the class of 2023/2024. The sampling technique uses the Slovin formula. Because the research population is more than 100 students. According to Arikunto (Irfan Mahendra, 2015) if the population is less than 100 people, then the total sample size is taken, but if the population is greater than 100 people, then 10-15% or 20-25% of the population can be taken. The results of the Spearman rank correlation test showed a relationship between body shaming and body image with the coefficient (r) of body shaming on body image of r = - 0.220 and was declared significant with p = 0.004 (p < 0.05). The correlation test results for self-confidence and body image are r = 0.221 with a significance of p = 0.004 (p < 0.05), which means there is a significant relationship between self-confidence and body image. The multiple linear regression test found a significant influence between body shaming and self-confidence on body image with the research results, the body shaming variable was 0.000 (p < 0.05) and 0.000 (p < 0.05) Keywords: Body Shaming, Kepercayaan Diri, Body Image
